Natural linen front and back. The two front coners have a white, powder blue, and turquoise blue large and small polka dot print. The firm handle and latches are made from chocolate colored felt. They have been sewn in a turquoise thread for nice contrast. The back has a lable with my shop name. Finally you cant travel without a luggage tag. This vine-shaped cellphone charging cable from Microworks is one application of this idea. It’s only a design concept at the moment, but I can picture something more elaborate – like a faux houseplant that is actually a gadget hub, with multiple branches that extend out and double as charging cables. It certainly would be a lot better than having cables slithering out of every socket like some sort of robotic Medusa.

Any set of speakers that only push 2W and cost $30 probably aren’t the greatest, but you have to respect any piece of electronic gadgetry that’s made of bamboo.

According to Gadgets Alerts, the company chose bamboo because it provides a greater sound range than similarly spec’d speakers, but who knows for sure. Clearly, the reason for buying these is for geek bragging rights.
