Sorapot’s Glass Tea Pot
Gifts, Home Style, Interesting, Weird July 10th, 2008
Made of 304 stainless steel, Pyrex and food-grade silicone, the Sorapot Glass Teapot holds just enough to make two cups of tea (or tea for two, if you prefer). The Sorapot’s stainless steel backbone is made the same way that jet turbine blades and space shuttle components are created. The Sorapot Glass Teapot provides the tea lover with a way to watch the tea brewing process with all the vicarious fascination of viewing a sunset.
The way it works is simple and innovative. You simply place the tealeaves in the glass pot and pour hot water in through the spout of the Sorapot Glass Teapot. Beautiful but not the most practical, as you must heat up the water in something else, but alas, what price the beauty of the tea making process and most sunsets?
